Featuring as the movie that ices the cake in Heath Ledger’s Filmography, there are a lot of things to talk about in about the joker in the dark knight. Heath Ledger appears as a fictional character in Chris Nolan’s 2008 the Dark Knight. The movie is based on the DC Comics character, who holds the same name.
Heath Ledger features as a psychopathic criminal mastermind with cruel humor, who has been hired by Gotham’s city’s mob bosses to eliminate the city’s vigilante Batman. This brings conflict between the Joker and Batman’s allies, such as James Gordon, who features as a Gotham police officer and Harvey Dent, who stars as the district attorney. The joker expresses himself as a character embodied with chaos, anarchy, and a desire to disrupt Gotham’s peace, which defines his conflict with Batman.
Unlike any other actor who has graced the character of the Joker, Ledger’s joker brings the authentic style that we expect from such a role. Heath Ledger is reported to have taken these cues from old comic books, and Tom Waits the Clockwork Orange. This explains how well he aimed into portraying a character that everyone would love, despite the evil motives that he has. It also explains his posthumous Academy award, which is quite unlikely.
